Snacks on Snacks on Snacks: Chobani Bites, Pear, Banana and a “Cookie Dough” Greek Yogurt Recipe
YOGURT TIME, BITCHES!
My besties at Chobani sent me a package of good!
I spread the good around the office, too, because it was a lot of yogurt. Nick got his own banana, Sarah got a fig/orange zest, Geoff liked the coffee/chocolate and other co-workers sampled spoonfuls.
If I had to review, I would say pear is the clear star. It may even be tastier than apple-cinnamon, but that’s a strong statement and I’m not ready to commit 100 percent.
The only Bite flavor I haven’t tried yet is the pineapple/caramel, but my taste buds rank the other three like this:
- Fig/orange zest
Also, I recently stumbled on an amassssssin new dessert recipe using plain, non-fat Cho. I modified it from the original version.
Cookie Dough Greek Yogurt
- 4 0z. plain, non-fat Chobani
- 1-2 Tablespoons nut butter (I use two Tablespoons of PB2, which is one 45-calorie serving)
- 1-2 Tablespoons Truvia (or Splenda, I guess)
- 1/4 Teaspoon vanilla
- 16 Ghirardelli milk chocolate baking chips (only 70 calories! BUT I DEFINITELY AM NOT EATING THIS PART IF YOU’RE READING THIS ELLIE HI!)
Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl with a spoon. Eat the treat.
Even Sarge likes it. He “pre-washes” the bowl for me when I’m done.
